We covered Mountain Hardwear’s Stretchdown jackets when they first came out a couple years back (you can read the review, here). We were stoked on it. Gave you all the warmth and coziness of down, but felt tougher, more durable, and the jacket behaved more like a flexible soft shell than a potentially fragile traditional down jacket.
