What’s the Best Snowboarding Resort in North America?

The thing that’s cool about studying results of AJ polls is learning where you guys are coming from philosophically, and this week’s question offers a great opportunity for this. Any time we ask what’s the “best,” it’s up to you to interpret how that’s defined. With this poll, as I see it, there are two main considerations: topography that’s uniquely beneficial to snowboarding and a culture that embraces it (as opposed to, say, Alta).

Add in all the other considerations when evaluating a mountain resort – snowfall amount, odds of big dumps, lift configuration and capacity, access, backcountry availability, etc. – and it should make for a fairly complex debate.
