After years of searching, I found it . . .

I finally found a magazine featuring ideas that are familiar, if not personally attainable. A guide to wingsuiting the Dolomites? How to get the best bikini pics on Thai beaches? The latest AI-enabled sunglasses? These things are not for me, but as a former NPS ranger I recognized Krista Diamond's reckless concessionaire behavior. I had some close calls in the Great Smokys but never collided with a bear like Brandon Bruce. I'm don't often care for photo essays, but I greatly appreciated Doris Mitsch's work in this issue.

I’m waiting on my first subscription issue but couldn’t wait any longer and bought a back issue. It was fantastic! It’s a great read on a quiet morning with a cuppa Joe. Thanks!

Has there ever been a lousy issue of AJ? No, no there has not. I have a dozen issues on my shelf, and wish I had more. They’re perhaps the only “magazine” that I can re-read year after year and still enjoy them.
